Coming to Bihar. It is but obvious that all the states of India got freedom at the same time. Bihar which is one of India's most endowed state having largest Iron deposits in Asia, Coal deposits what have you. It has a fertile soil, well irrigated land.
Historically Bihar and UP have always led India...Ayodhya/ Samrat Ashok etc.
Bihar politics post independence has also played significant role in Indian politics. Infact at one time most parties strategy would be that if you have Bihar and UP you have India.
Then one of the biggest unanswered question is WHY is BIHAR so Backward ??!!
Sadly if you look at the political process of Bihar till recently it has been Mockery of Democracy. Polls were rigged and elections won at the end of the gun.
What followed was siphoning of infrastructure funds, funds for poverty programs, rural programs etc. The result - EXODUS.
You yourself have said Bihari Migrants getting hurt here there. Do you hear of Maharshtrian Migrants, Gujarati Migrants, Kannada Migrants in Bihar, UP elsewhere...
And now the dirty politicians of Bihar want to create votebanks in other states so that they can do goonda gardi there and desecrate democracy by at gunpoint.
UP Bihar migration is like a refugee problem faced by countries when there is war or genocide in the neighbourhood.
Instead of fighting for your rights within Bihar you choose to run away and go to other states and want their jobs and want to grab a piece of their economy which they have built by fighting for their rights and remaining shrewed during election and not casting the vote by receiving some vesels and a blanket. PEople GEt the politicians and government they deserve. why everyone in UP and BHIar is voting for people who play caste politics? so no body but the people are responsible for their fates.
and i assure u if maratis continue on the same path[by trying to defend RAj] they will become even worse than UP and bihar. and some body was very proud of having good infra in education , in maharashtra. BUt i want to ask is there any use of such infra if the farmers in the state are commiting suside. is this your idea of development. i thing they should be ashamed of themselves.
My point is WHY are Biharis and UPites migrating even today for jobs in other states. Why are you not able invite oportunity. Industrialists are wary of Bihar/Jharkhand because there are a lot of unethical stuff that you have to do like shaking hands with the local Mafia.
Just see how Tata shifted from W Bengal to Gujarat...despite losses in crs. They want stability. Besides Mining there is so much scope for Food and Agro processing units comming up in Bihar & UP. Immense Potential. The amount of jobs that will be generated will be sufficient to bring back the bihari home. AND LIVE PEACEFULLY WITH HIS FAMILY. Most migrants leave their families back home.
Instead of screaming at not being able to grab oportunity elsewhere. Time for the proactive, progressive and learned eminent Biharis to focus on creation of oportunity back home. Thats the long term solution. mess is all happening because of BIHAR politicians. How can those politicians ignore that even if they speak one small provocative word its going to effect these migrant population. See lalu how his statement are, is he helping them or using them to create an image that he is the only protector of biharis at the cost of migrant population.
BIHAR NRI's also should help their own state instead of investing in other states Let me tell you one thing.. All is not well in Bihar and UP too.. onus of responsibility lies on every citizen .. You cant blame marathis for all ills of Bihar and similarly MNS marathis cant blame Bihar and UP for all their ills..

instead of finding probblems with Raj Thakre who obviously has acted in wrong way
try to push ur leaders for good governance try to push ur state to development oriented politics
1) Why is ur state which is full of natural resources lagging behind?
2) why are people like Laloo and Mayawati have never shown interest in developing the state? when Sonia gives land for a coach factory mayawati cancels it and vice versa. and in end the people suffer
3) why is that castiesm, criminalisation and petty politics been the main issues which dominate Bihar politics in a manner much greater than ne where else in India?
4) India is a federal structure and talking of rights of Maharastrians is no regionalism.
Biharis must take pressure to create jobs in their own land. when 20000 Biharis and Upites land in Mumbai for mere 457 seats where are the local candidates going to go?
5) why there are no advertisements of the exams of RRB in local newspapers in a prominent way? this proves Laloo and his minsitry is acting like a pure regionalist and using Railway as a personal fiefdom for particular state.
Most importantly Mumbai is a just a very small Island and how much more people will it take?
have u people ever visited Mumbai and seen the Urban mess that has been created due to uncontroller influx of migrants? the whole infrastructure has collapsed. most migrants indulge in illegal jobs create slums and when dont have jobs take part in criminal acts.
And the main point --- have these migrants ever tryed to assimilate with Marathi culture? do u see any trace of Marathi in Mumbai? how many non marathi ppl in Mumbai know Marathi?
We Maharastrians have tolerated much more than ne one else and its due to extreme suffocation this adverse reaction is coming out and must be controlled for nations good
