Where is the new theme they promised? Some great community themes and ideas, none of them made it to Intrepid.
Due to brown resolution of desktop seems to be extended.If resolution is 1280*800 , it looks like 1400*868.It is really a magic.
I like the "Hardy Heron" theme of 8.04 better. The new is more grunge and dark. Hard Heron is a very happy, fun design that really makes me feel welcome when I boot my PC.
I think the orange/brown color scheme in general is great. I've searched tons of modified themes for Ubuntu and GNOME and I just can't find anything I like better. -- Maybe it's all those years of being stuck under the Windows blue scheme that I never thought orange would be the way to go... Guess the MS brainwashing is starting to wear off.
Of course, I am forcing myself to wait for a LTS upgrade before I move on with Ubuntu. I am very, very happy with 8.04 LTS.
