I think we should have barack obama to be our president. The reason why I think barack obama should be our president is we had alot of white presidents and about one or two black president.

I think barack obama and john mcain both should be our president because they can make the world a better place for kids to walk across the street.Kids like to have the world a better place because some kids feel bad for the people that live in the street. Some kids would also like the those people that live in the street to have a home to live in a home so they can grow up to be a lawyer or what ever they want to be.

I feel very sorry because most of the people that I've talked to that support Barack Obama are voting for him for the wrong reasons.
The most common response that I've heard is, "We need an inspirational and charismatic leader like him." For those whose voting criteria matches that phrase let me remind you that Adolf Hitler was also a charismatic leader.
Another response that I've heard is, "He is going to tax the rich and help the poor. " I am currently pursuing a major in economics in a very prestigious university and that has helped me to notice the economic ignorance that exists in the USA.
How do people make profit? By exchanging services for money. How do people get rich? By gaining a lot of profit. Do you really think that a person that makes 250 grand a year is going to be willing to lower his income by almost 40%? Well the answer is no. Every economic action - like this taxation proposed by Obama - has a consequence. If people made 250 grand, instead of winning less money they are going to raise their prices to gain the same amount of money that they were winning before the taxation. Who does a rise in the prices affect? The consumer, and that is YOU. Let's say that Super Barack decides to set a price ceiling so that the rich villains can't raise prices and affect the people. Well they will start lowering costs, and that is done by reducing labor (people losing their jobs). So there is no "magic justice" in Obama's tax plan.
To the person that wrote in the blog about finally having a black president, wasn't racism left in the past? If what you are saying is true then Martin Luther King's effort was in vain. Racism lives only in the minds that hold it.
I am voting for John McCain, and I'm not his fan. But I think that he is the only choice. America will be facing in a few hours the responsibility of stopping the disgrace that would result from having Barack Obama as our president. We are still on time!.
