Has Sarah Palin proven to be a boon or a bust for the McCain campaign? (Poll Closed)

A boon -- she did her job of energizing the Republican base. 35% (96 votes)

A bust -- she's scared away middle-of-the-road voters who might have otherwise gone McCain's way. 49% (136 votes)

A mixed bag -- her pros and cons will cancel each other out, so in the end she won't make much of a difference. 16% (45 votes)
