Ban cell phones at elementary and high schools

I THINK THEY SHOULD NOT BE BANNED BECAUSE SOME STUDENTS HAVE TO WALK HOME AND SOMETHING MIGHT HAPPEN TO THEM AND THEY COULD CALL THEIR MOM ORDAD OR EVEN THE POLICE IF THEY HAD THEIR PHONE BUT SINCE THEY DIDNT THEY GOT KIDNAPPED...THATS WHY THEY SHOULD NOT BE BANNED...

I think that it should not be banned because it is obvious that the benefits of bringing a mobile to school is more. Therefore, i strongly support that mobile phones should not be banned in schools.

I also believe that cellular phones should not be banned because of how crucial they are in emergency situations. Emergency's like Columbine and Virginia Tech were stopped earlier with these devices therefore they are a necessity during the day.

I believe that cell phones should be banned from school because they would be to much of a distraction during class. Kids would be focused more on text messaging than the teacher. If there was an emergency during class, I'm sure the teacher would let kids use them then, but that is a very rare case. Also, people can send threats around school with text, which are way more effective than words, because it can get around quicker.

I am strongly against.

I think that cell phones should not be banned from schools, they are very useful for people with busy lives and changing schedules. Technology is getting better and better in today's world so we might as well just go with the flow and allow them in schools because people are just going to go against the rules anyway...

Cellphones are a great safety tool, and I definitely want my kids to keep them with them all the time. I think the schools and the parents can take these decisions, government should not interfere..

i think cell phones should not be banned because what if you have a after school activity and your ride doesnt show up and the office is closed what do you do and you cant just use a firends cuz they cant bring them either and your teacher is gone WHAT DO YOU DO!!!!!
