Does our society have its priorities straight?

The high number of votes for "We have treated nature like a credit card, taking out more than we put in", is sad reflection of just how little we understand the banking system.

We put far more money into credit cards, in the form of interest rates, bank fees and charges and now bail outs, than we ever get out.

The banks would never provide a services on which they lost money!

The line should read "We have treated nature like a whore, using her for our own pleasure, under paying her for her services, leaving her on her own to cope with her pain and suffering, recommending her to all our friends who also use her and then when she ends up out on the streets, drowning her sorrows in toxic drugs, we blame the government for not doing something to clear the streets of unsightly drug addicts".
